1960: Mr SAJOUS forms the Société Bordelaise de Décoration, in Artigues, The company decorates lights with a satin finish, screen printing and hand decoration. Very soon, he then offers his knowledge to Armagnac and cognac companies, and thus launches the fashion of satin finishes on carafes.
1972: he abandons work on lights.
1982: the Armadis Armagnac company asks Sobodec to create the Belle Sandrine, the 1st bottle to feature screen printing in 6 colours.
1987: construction of the Pompignac factory with a fully automated production line for coatings and screen printing.
Since 2000, the company has been run by Guy Kuypers, also owner of the DECOVER group, based in Belgium, and specialising in the decoration of all types of glassware: bottles, glasses, jars, vases, etc.
